The Food Agri value chain needs to produce more with less to ensure long-term sustainability and economic viability. We want to make a contribution to a sustainable food system and reduce food waste by helping increase the availability of and access to food, promoting healthy nutrition, and enhancing stability in the food industry. Our strategy emphasizes access to finance, networks and knowledge, as well as the importance of connecting and uniting producers, consumers, government bodies and the public on food issues. Strategic cornerstones With our knowledge, networks and finance, we strive to enable customers to make independent decisions while remaining flexible. Our strategy is founded on four cornerstones: Excellent Customer Focus, Meaningful Cooperative, Rock-Solid Bank, and Empowered Employees. These are the four cornerstones of all our actions, priorities, key performance indicators (KPI's), values and behaviors. Before discussing our performance on these strategic cornerstones in the following chapters, we will first outline the four pillars below.
