Rabobank has agreed settlements with various authorities, for which it has paid a total of 774.
The payment of these substantial settlement amounts will not have an impact on Rabobank's
financial stability.
In addition, Rabobank has taken the following measures:
Rabobank has taken strict disciplinary measures against all employees who were involved in
the inadmissible behaviour and who were still working at the bank during the period of
the investigation.
The contracts of employment of employees who were involved in grave inadmissible
behaviour have been terminated. Other disciplinary measures included formal warnings,
financial sanctions and the withdrawal of management responsibilities or a combination of
those measures. Bonuses for the period 2009-2012 were reclaimed in full or in part.
Rabobank has implemented internal systems and controls in respect of the submission
procedures for interest rate benchmarks that meet the highest requirements within the
financial sector and comply with the most recent guidelines of regulators and the banking
sector. This includes the requirement that the bank's submission procedures must be subject
to regular internal and external audits.
