Despite the difficult market conditions in 2003,
De Lage Landen succeeded in expanding the
volume of its activities. Operating profit increased
by 11% to EUR 264 (238) million and the loans
portfolio grew by 11% to EUR 12 (11) billion.
The business increased its leading position in

vendor lease and car lease. De Lage Landen's strengths in the

knowledge of objects in various branches of industry. Its product range
