This year's keynote speaker was
legendary football coach Lou Holtz,
who talked about three important

Dinner for more than 300 clients
For the first time, Rabobank Inter
national North America Wholesale
(RI-NAW) hosted a Markets Forum in
New York for more than 300 clients.
The Forum focused on an overview
of the markets with presentations
from Rabobank and industry leaders
on the currency, equities, commo-
dities and debt markets.
The Forum was a welcome addition
to the cliënt appreciation dinner,
which was held for the ninth time
this year. The dinner was attended
by more than 400 top-tier corporate

business for Rabobank, and the
challenges that many renewable
energy projects are still facing
in securing funding. Sparta
explained how DLL integrates
Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) into its business model,
as well as its expanding growth
into clean technology markets.
Drawing from his experience
with solarequipment finance
and energy-efficient lighting
systems, he revealed how DLL
can move clean technologies
to the mass market by closing
the fïnancing gap for small to
medium size projects.
In November 2010, the Associa-
tion of Dutch Businessmen (ADB),
Rabobank and De Lage Landen
(DLL) hosted a networking event
and presentation on sustainabil
ity and finance at the Flollandse
Club in Singapore. More than
30 ADB members attended,
to hear how Rabobank and DLL
are funding the growth in the
renewable energy and clean
technology sector.
