The rationale for this change is threefold:

as global sector heads:

Chenjun Pan: "We see three main issues that need to be
addressed within the sector. Firstly, the country is close to
not being able to produce enough crops to satisfy the feed
requirements of the pork sector, which means China may have
to import corn, which it doesn't want to do for cost reasons.
Secondly, small and medium-sized farmers still have a strong
foothold in the sector, so there is a real need to develop this
market and make it more efficiënt. And thirdly, food safety
remains a big issue and a tough taskforthe industry and the
government to get to grips with. It is currently the Achilles heel
of the Chinese food sector."

The global sector heads are responsible for managing a
global F&A sector within Rabobank and have a commercial
responsibility for the key clients of this particular sector.
The global sector head will hierarchically report in their
own region or product group, but functionally to the Global
Head of Wholesale Clients International.
