The credit crisis and the resulting global economie downturn have had a huge impact on the banking sector, including Rabobank. Rather than being driven by market developments, Rabobank International has decided to take fïmn control by stressing the need to focus on five value drivers - costs, capital, expected loss/provisions, liquidity and income - drivers which are the foundations of what we like to call balanced banking. In fact, they are the essence of banking in general. Balancing these five value drivers in the decisions we make about customers and transactions will help us make the right choices.
