It assists economically disadvantaged
patients with medication, equipment
or other supplies that are not provided
for free or are only subsidised by the
hospital. The fund is also used to
purchase equipment for the children's
cancer ward.
Event co-sponsor Rabobank con-
tributed two Malaysian ringgits for
every tulip sold and encouraged its
corporate clients in Malaysia to place
orders for the tulips. Mr. Goh Chong
Theng, Rabobank's General Manager

be able to join hands with KLM in

New York locations across the city
It was 400 years ago that Henry Hudson sailed up
the river that now bears his name and, on behalf
of the Dutch East India Company, established a
trading post that would go on to become New
York. To commemorate that historie date, the
cities of New York and Amsterdam are hosting a
series of special events, exhibitions and projects
throughout 2009 that celebrate the founding
of New York City by the Dutch. Rabobank is
sponsoring some of the key organisations and
projects, and is offering its employees 'insider ac
cess' to some of the best exhibits and events.
One of the key events will be a special recep
tion for Rabobank employees in New York and
New Jersey, which will be held on 23 July at the
Museum of the City of New York. Employees
will have the opportunity to tour the exhibits
and listen to a special presentation by Russell
Shorto, author of the book 'Island at the Center
of the World', on how the Dutch came to found
New York.
