With many of the world's fïnancial institutions still reeling from the blows delivered
by the fïnancial crisis, questions are now being asked about the banking sector's
ability to manage the long-term interests of customers. One model receiving renewed
attention is cooperative banking, after cooperative banks emerged from the crisis
