Rabobank Netherlands
makes new appointments
to the Executive Board

Gerlindejoined Rabobank Netherlands
as a management trainee and has held a
number of positions within the securities
division, the international part of the
organisation, the payments division and
Rabofacet.
Bert Heemskerk, Chairman of the
Executive Board of Rabobank Netherlands,
said: "The appointments of Berry
and Gerlinde mean that two highly
experienced Rabobank directors will be
joining the executive board."
Rabobank Netherlands has appointed
Berry Marttin and Gerlinde Silvis to its
Executive Board, effective 1 July 2009.
In his new role, Berry will concentrate
on the international business sector,
while Gerlinde will oversee the domestic
business and Human Resources.
Berry Marttin has been with Rabobank
since 1990 and is currently Director of
Rabobank Amsterdam. He has worked
for Rabobank International in a number
of different positions, and on various
continents, where he has gained
extensive experience as an international
banker, in both the wholesale and retail
banking business.
Gerlinde Silvis
The Hong Kong office has organised
the 'Rabobank Christmas Can Food
Tree' project for the iast three years,
which involved clients and the local
Dutch community. It is also involved
in other internal CSR projects,
including the Chinese New Year food
donation campaign and since
mid-2008 the
Think Green'
campaign for
the North East
Asia region.

Rabobank International Hong
Kong was recently awarded the
'Caring Company' logo by the Hong
Kong Council of Social Services
for its outstanding performance in
Corporate Social Responsibility.
The bank also received a 'Certificate
of Commendation' from the Hong
Kong Red Cross for organising
donation campaigns for a number
of disastrous catastrophes, including
the China snowstorm and China
Sichuan earthquake.

People's Food Bank, a local
humanitarian organisation that
