Tony Costa and Maria van der Hoeven officially
opening Rabobank's new branch in Jakarta.
Rabobank Indonesia recently opened a
branch office in Jakarta as an expansion of its
current operations on the 9th floor of the
same building - the fïrst one to serve both
corporate and retail clients. Maria van der
Hoeven, the Dutch Minister of Economie
Affairs, attended the opening ceremony.
'The opening of this new branch office is
part of Rabobank's strategy to strengthen
its presence in Indonesia," said Rob van
Zadelhoff, Rabobank International's
Head of Asia. "Rabobank is
committed to supporting the
growth of its clients by using
Rabobank's international network
and the former Hagabank and
Bank Hagakita's existing networks
in Indonesia." According toTony
Costa, Rabobank Indonesia
President, the new office will give
customers better access to a broader range
of products and experience. "Rabobank
always wants to be close to its customers
and to be able to assist them in fulfilling
their banking needs," he said.
The opening of the branch is part of
Rabobank Indonesia's challenging plan for
expansion in the SME and retail business
sector, with the bank targeting growth
above market average, which means an
annual growth rate of 20 to 30 percent.
