On Friday 4 April 2008, Rabobank received official permission from the Polish
Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA) to achieve a majority position in BGZ.

Ffans ten Cate, member of the Executive Board of
Rabobank Nederland and chairman of the Managing
Board of Rabobank International, will retire on 1 July
2008. MrTen Cate had already reached retirement age
when his contract of employment was extended by
arrangement in 2006, but has now decided to bring his
impressive career in banking to a conclusion. Given that
Bert Heemskerk has extensive experience in international
banking, it was decided that he will chair the Managing
Board of Rabobank International (MBRI) as of 1 July.
Rl announced the successful tender by Rabobank for the provision of a erop
financing program for important Canadian corporate agri-business cliënt James
Richardson International (JRI: a great example of intra-regional cross-border and
cross-departmental cross-sell (Rabo AgriFinance, New York and Toronto) that
leverages our RI's best competencies.
Leveraged Finance Madrid and Loan Syndication com-
pleted the syndication of €122 million LBOfacilities to
back the Spanish frozen seafood retail chain La Sirena
Alimentacion Congelada S.L. ("La Sirena") and acted as
sole Arranger and Underwriter.
London Relationship Management and GFM's Commodities Weather Deriva-
tives teams have conducted Rabobank Internationals first South African Certified
Emission Reduction (CER) deal, with South Africa's leading fertilizer manufacturer
Omnia.
