Rabobank as a whole, in its marketing efforts and negotia-
tions with clients, but it also enhances our ability to attract
the best staff.
Walschots: Knowledge in itself is actually pretty worthless,
unless you have the ability to use it effectively. It's like a
diamond in the rough and has to be cut and polished in
exactly the right way to bring out its full value. I think I can
speak for all three research departments when I say that this
is our strength: the ability not only to gain knowledge, but
to put that knowledge to good use in creating added value
both for Rabobank itself and for our clients.
