A landmark year
2006 is a year of anniversaries for Rabobank: Rabobank
celebrates its 25th anniversary in the United States, the
Singapore branch commemorates its 20th anniversary,
and it was 10 years ago, in 1996, that the Central Banking
Sector was renamed Rabobank International (Rl).
But the most impressive anniversary this year is the 150th
anniversary of the founding bank that subsequently
became part of the Rabobank Group
The bank (pictured), the Allgemeine Deutsche
Credit Anstalt (ADCA), was incorporated
in Leipzig, Germany in 1856. In
1982, it was acquired by
Rabobank, and in 1998, it started
trading as Rabobank
