Success happens when opportunity meets solid preparation. An effective Microsoft PowerPoint presentation
can make preparation easier. As we start a new year, Rabobank is rolling out new wholesale PowerPoint XP
templates and a suite of ready-made slides reflecting the new corporate branding to help you on your way.

During 2003, the Rabobank Com
munications Department met with
over 80 key PowerPoint users frorn
across the wholesale businesses to assess
their needs. What they discovered was
that, in addition to using it as a presenta
tion tooi, wholesale staff most often use
PowerPoint as a publishing solution to
create leave-behind booklets, 'offer docu-
ments', or other handouts. The new
design created for PowerPoint templates
takes this into account and has reduced
font sizes to allow more information to
be placed on the slide/page.
The features users said they would like to
see in the new slides include:
pre-made slides, with pre-set colored
boxes to allow the user to concentrate
on content rather than design;
a simple way to explain and illustrate
the Rabobank corporate structure;
different options to show comparative
information;
elegant and user-friendlv world maps.
All these features have been incorporated
into the new PowerPoint templates.
Futhermore, the 'one brand', which was
finalized last year for Rabobank's whole
sale businesses and is based on clements
familiar to the existing retail look, has
been applied to the new PowerPoint XI'
templates, and ready-to-use slides. This
means that suitable images and strap
lines are options staff can slot-in when
appropriate. Key Rabobank strap lines
(such as 'Lead the way', 'Your Nature.
Our Nurture' and others) are now at
your fingertips, adding impact to your
meetings with customers.
Finally, the new templates and ready-to-
use slides use version 1.0b Rabobank
Myriad TrueType fonts. If you do not
yet have these fonts installed, contact
your local 1T Department to remove
older versions or arrange a quick, new
installation. I
