Rabobank Internationale (RFs)
strategy has remained constant for a
number of years, success is a moving
target and constant adaptation is
essential. Our phenomenal success to
date is largely a result of increased
efficiency, teamwork and our strong
niche focus. But strong growth
presents its own problems. How do
we qualify success, allocate increas-
ingly scarce solvency and etisure the
availability of necessary liquidity
Ralf Dekker (RD): Over recent years,
Rl has presented itself as the leading
Food and Agribusiness (F&A) bank.
This suggests our profits are largely a
result of F&A banking activities. This
is not true. If you look at the three
pillars of our business, while corpo-
rate banking has a strong F&A focus
