Board is deliberating on a docu
ment author Ralf Dekker, working with
the Managing Board, has entitled;
'Strategie considerations'. Note the title,
hecause, like the positioning paper of
April 2001, we ntay be talking 'strate
gie', but we are not talking ehange in
strategy. With one exeeption, so-called
'country banking' (of which more later,
and even more on page 8). In faet, it is
more a vision for the future. But before
going into 'Strategie considerations',
let's look ar the background.
