'Welcome to Rabobank International China and DG Bank
representative office in Beijing....' This is the message
you'11 hear if you dial RI in Beijing these days. It's part of a
growing trend in Asia towards bringing together RI and
DG offices under the one-roof-two-doors policy.

The Jakarta office is another mover. Officially opened on 12
September with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the two partner
banks have been cohabiting since August 14, so Jakarta can
claim to have been the first to start sharing. RI in Indonesia
is celebrating its lOth anniversary this year, and newly ap-
pointed general manager Hans Winkelmolen says the move
was a landmark. 'This is an important step forward in the
process of merging Rabo and DG. And it is yet another
milestone in the 10-year history of Rabobank in Indonesia,
not least because it creates strong fundamentais for a
healthy and sustainable future of both organizations in this
country.' Who's next?
