Rabobank's view of the coming year Riedlin on a decade of development 4 It has been a challenging year. We've been through a lot that even the most far-sighted among us could hardly have predicted this time last year. Bnt we've come through it all intact and, as the above deal shows, in the kind of business we do best - coming up with creative solu- tions for cliënt problems. This issue of What's NewS rounds off a century and a millennium. Final preparations for the lat- ter are covered (see page 9). But we've also focused on our role as chronicler of RI in this last issue of the century. Although the end of a year is al- ways a time of reflection, it is equally a moment to look ahead. Rabobank's Fore cast for 2000, our progress on business plans, what's happening on the DG-RI joint venture and, of course, the creative and customer focused deals that take us into a new century they're all here, too.
