In the greater scheme of things, two decades is
no more than a flash in the pan. Yet, if you are
only 20 years old, then a review of that often
turbulent early period is not out of place as one
millennium gives way to the next. The
international side of Rabobank's activities is
still comparatively young. We've put on huge
spurts of growth and, like most evolving and
maturing organizations, have acknowledged our
mistakes and celebrated our triumphs - there
are a number of each. We have seen
personalities come and go; we've seen our focus
called and sloganed under a variety of names.
We've had strategie action plans, customer focus
strategies, strategie reviews, success through
partnership actions - some of you have seen
them all and survive to teil the tale.
As we embark on a new phase in our evolution,
What's NewS would like to chronide some of
the highlights along the way, showing how we
have grown rapidly from very small beginnings
into a worldwide player.
