Checking out new technology - both information on Rl products and services and the pilot for our new CD-Rom proved highly poputar in Antwerp Euromoney has awarded Rabobank 'best Dutch borrower' of the year. Diversity, frequency and innovation are among the criteria given for the award. The authoritative fnanciai publication was somewhat surprised that we are such a relatively small borrower. 'For a bank which is fast building its international and investment banking businesses, the equivalent of USD 2.6 billion does not seem a huge amount. What it does prove is that Rabobank does not allow itselfto be put under the same pressure as some of its rivais,' according to Euromoney. What should be driving force behind RI's organizational structure - clients or products? These and more were under discussion at the workshop on cliënt relationship management. Building on the revitalized CAM concept, participants debated responsibility and authority under health care global business manager Arnold Kuijpers' chairmanship. The drive meshes with a number of initiatives driven by the global F&A management team to build enhanced expertise. Peter Greenberg, the global business manager, and Flip Goudsmit will be setting up the drive and they explained tactics during a dedicated workshop on the role of tailored human resources strategies for F&A. Leendert Colijn and Wim Boonstra's clear explication of all the factors involved in determining both risks and limits won the soubriquet: most informative presentation. The fact that over 120 people involved in no less than 11 different activities, more or less simultaneously, went off without a hitch is a tribute to their skills and patience - thanks a million to all three...
