Eighteen VIP boxes and a hos- pitality room had been reserv- ed specially for CBS clients, with four allocated to the Frankfurt and other interna tional offices. Tournaments such as the Davis Cup are ideal venues for promoting informal contacts between clients. For this reason, a specially selected program is put together every year comprising high profile, quality events which will ap- peal to clients. These can range from classical concerts and musicals to sports meetings. The Davis Cup tournament was particularly successful for the bank, although less so for the Dutch team. Becker and Stich were in top form and beat their neighbours with re- lative ease. But the crowd still cheered - especially when the Ajax football team arrived to watch.
