Although the Guernsey of
fice has been up and running
for some time now, it was only
opened officially on May 3.
The reception held to mark the
office's inauguration was actu-
ally a doublé celebration be-
cause Guernsey is also Rabo-
bank's 50th foreign office. The
ceremony was performed by
Willem Wagner, a senior man
ager in Utrecht and also a mem-

board. 'We will try to become
an established part of the
Guernsey community as soon
as we can,' he said, 'and we
hope that through our network
we will be able to bring in a lot
of customers, thus participat-
ing in the wealth development
of Guernsey.'
