The Singapore office organ-
ized a fun farewell for its de
parting general manager at the
end of December. Gijs van de
Schriek had been with the of
fice since it was opened in
1986 and has seen it grow into
one of the biggest foreign of
fices in the Rabobank organiz
ation. Van de Schriek joins the
London office as general man
ager on January 25 and his pre-
decessorthere, Willem van Lyn-
den van Keppel will take on the
job of general manager at the
Singapore operation. The Lon
don staff combined Christmas
celebrations with Van Lynden
van Keppel's send off and are
organizing a cocktail party in
early February to welcome their
new general manager.

ficer on January 1, 1993.
Switzerland Kathrin Rolli has
been appointed as assistant to
the operation department as
from December 1, 1992.
UK Senior dealer, investment
and derivatives Rustam Lam
joined the bank from Banque
Paribas on November 9, 1992.
Julia Hughes was appointed cus-
tomer services clerk in the ad-
ministration division on Novem
ber 11,1992. The banking divi
sion has a new junior secretary,
Nicola Shears. She joined the
bank on November 16, 1992.
Corporate finance researcher
Joanne Slater took up her post
at the bank on November 23,

will be responsible for Switzer
land. Tjeerd de Vries has been
appointed to the corporate fi
nance division. Both appoint-
ments as per January 1,1993.
