ISA People Rabo band eabo BELGIUM General manager Karei Plasman will leave the office on 1 September and will be succeeded by Frans van Bijsterveld, who was formerly head of account management forthe Agribusiness in Utrecht. Plasman will become a member of the Corporate Banking management team in Utrecht. Jean Michei Ancion, account manager in Brussels, and Roger Delcroix, account manager in Ant- werp, have been appointed senior account managers. Mick Elegeert has joined the bank as a staff member in Account Manage ment, while the Account Management secre- tarial department also has a new member, Anja Janssens. Cathérine Geurden has suc ceeded Guy Welslau as account manager for LPO Brussels and Ivo van den Nest has been appointed section head in Credit Manage ment. The head of the Dutch Desk, Peter Mens, is now account manager with Dutch Link and is succeeded by Frank Nagel, who was formerly a member of the Dutch Desk staff. HONG KONG The Hong Kong Branch moved to larger premises in April. The former office was too small to cope with the planned growth of the branch to a staff of 70 during this year. The Trade Services Department has been reor- ganized to enable it to provide better ser vices to the customers. Teddy Lo will be spe- cially responsible for customer contacts with the account managers, the development of the LC system and handling special cus tomers. Samuel Li has been appointed as bills manager and is responsible for the Ex port, Import and Remittance operations. In addition, he has overall responsibility for Trade Services. Account manager Nelson Ho has left the bank and has been succeeded by Eduard van Voorst. Mark Chan has joined the branch as account manager Private Banking. Rabobank Nederland's subsidiary Nedship Bank has set up an office in Hong Kong on the premises of the Hong Kong Branch. The manager is Jan Verschoor. SPAIN Representative Maus Barendrecht is leav- ing Spain. He will be succeeded by Arnout van Schelven, who was head of Account Management for Industry and Trade in Utrecht. Barendrecht will become a member of the management of Surinvest, in Uruguay. LUXEMBOURG Ad van Hienen, general manager, is coming back to the Netherlands where he will join the Rotterdam Regional Office. His successor is Jean-Pierre van Keymeulen, who was previously deputy general manager. CURACAO 9 Dolf Meurs, area manager in Utrecht, has been appointed account manager and Jesse Sprong has become account manager with Trade Finance. Ad Huisman from Rabobank Steenbergen has joined the bank to become portfolio manager. NEW YORK General manager Hugo Steensma is leav- ing the Rabobank Group. He will remain at- tached to the branch for some time yet as a consultant. Lamar Ratcliffe. has been ap pointed account manager, vice-president US Agribusiness Banking Eastern Region, Robert Benoit has been named senior credit manager, vice-president, Credit Department. BRAZIL Ricardo Fleury has joined the Commer cial Department of the Brazil office. His pri- mary specialization is credit analysis. UTRECHT Wouter Kolff was appointed head of the new Corporate Finance Division. Monika Dul, Paquerette Spelt and Shirin Mazaheri have been added to the staff of the secre- tariai office of the International Division's management. Roel Hagoort has joined the bank as head of the Europe Desk, while Hans Reusch, has been appointed head of the Agribusiness Research Department. Mauk Faber will concentrate exclusively on export financing. The Rabo Trustmaatschap pij and Agri Projectfinanciering have become part of the International Division. The devel opment of Rabobank as an international agribusiness bank has been incorporated into the International Division with this last addition. DE LAGE LANDEN Henk Sterk, a member of the Group Man agement, has left De Lage Landen. Cees van de Velden has been appointed manager of De Lage Landen Factors BV. Jurgen Schnie- ring has been appointed manager of De Lage Landen Holding GmbH Germany and Ge- schaftsführer of Autoleasing and Autover- mietung, while Edward Koenen has become Geschaftsführer of De Lage Landen Factors GmbH. The manager of De Lage Landen Leasing Ireland Co. is Jan van As and Gérard Rimpot has become Directeur Général of De Lage Landen Leasing SA in France. The new manager of De Lage Landen Factors SpA in Italy is Gerrit Schipper. GERMANY On 1 October Hans van der Velde, mem ber of the Vorstand, will leave Rabobank Deutschland and join the management team of the Corporate Banking Division in Utrecht. His successor is Albert Sonntag. Pierre Vorage has been appointed member of the Vorstand. Karel-Friedrich Tappe retired.
