Housing mortgages continued to make up a large portion of the
mortgage contracts funded, though here too the consequences of the
recession made themselves clearly felt.
Our quest to achieve a broader market approach and the underlining of
our specialties increasingly led us to cooperate with other financiers in
1980 with our input being long-term funds and specialized real estate
know-how. Due to this we reasonably expect to be able to maintain our
position in the mortgage credit market which is no longer showing rapid
growth in relative terms.
