which was effectuated per 1st October 1979, is the conviction that
the FGH as a specialised credit institution can only derive its existence
in the future from its erpertise in the field of real estate. With the
acquisition of the Kok Group we expect to have obtained further
possibilities for a widening of this expertise within our company.
As a market partner the Kok Group should retain its independence
and its own identity.
In the second half of 1979 the 50% of the shares in Gebam that
were outstanding with Nederhorst were acquired, so that this
building company is now a 100% subsidiary. This ensures that we
can quietly consider the future of this profitable company. It is very
well possible that a third party may -again - take a 50% interest in
Gebam. Our policy will above all be aimed at maintaining Gebam's
continuity and profitability.
In the past year we decided to move our headquarters to Utrecht.
For a number of years we have increasingly been cramped for space
in our Amsterdam head office. Spreading corporate divisions over
other establishments provides only a temporary and not very efficient
